- Seasonal aspect formers and functional types in planting.
- Planting examples from a diversity of gardens
- Various plant users and their planting styles
- Planting design exercises with various thematic topics
- Short field trips to the Berggarten of the Herrenhausen Gardens on the topic of aesthetic planting design [more]

MANDATORY BACHELORS COURSE
Our mandatory course for undergraduate students is offered regularly during the winter semester:
- Basic principles of a planting design
- The living ranges of perennials
- Basic knowledge of the assortment of woody plants
- Exercises in planting planning for individual habitats

FIELD TRIPS AND IMPROMPTU ASSIGNEMENTS
We regularly offer field trips and impromptu assignments (stegreife) for students in the Bachelor's and Master's programs. The current offering can be viewed on the bulletin board in the atrium of Herrenhäuser St. 2A or online.
